Sharing Starters

ITALIAN  Cured meats, cheeses, olives and vegetable antipasti served with homemade pesto and focaccia.

SPANISH TAPAS  Griddled smoky chorizo, garlic prawns, Manchego, sherry roasted red peppers, patatas bravas served with aioli and locally baked bread.

FISH PLATTERS  Poached salmon, smoked salmon, potted prawns, smoked mackerel paté served with lemon and caper crème fraiche and locally baked malted granary bread.

CAMEMBERT baked with roasted garlic and rosemary, served with a selection of dipping breads

 

Plated Starters

SMOKED SALMON AND PRAWNS served with lime and dill mayonnaise and freshly baked malted bread.

CHICKEN LIVER PATE served with onion marmalade and melba toasts

SPICED BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP served with crispy chorizo, chilli oil and freshly baked bread rolls.

CARAMELISED RED ONION, STREAKY BACON AND ROCKET SALAD with pine nuts, parmesan and balsamic dressing

 

Mains

HOG ROAST Slow cooked pulled pork shoulder and sliced leg of pork served ready carved on platters along with fabulous crackling, homemade stuffing and apple sauce. Served with your choice of three hot or cold sides.

BARBEQUE - A selection of succulent meats and vegetarian options served with your choice of salads and accompaniments.

ROAST SIRLOIN OF BEEF Whole joints served to the table and carved by an allocated guest!  Served with Yorkshire Puddings, horseradish sauce, roasted potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables and red wine gravy.

DUCK Confit leg of duck and roasted duck breast, served with an orange, cranberry and port reduction, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

WHOLE ROASTED LAMB carved and served on platters along with homemade mint and apple jelly and a selection of seasonal potatoes and vegetables.

SPICED BEEF SKIRT STEAKS served with a punchy salsa verde, chunky wedges and dressed spinach and tomato salad.

POACHED SALMON FILLET served with lemon & caper mayonnaise, new potatoes and two side salad dishes.

LEMON, THYME and GARLIC CHICKEN, served with a seasonal vegetable risotto.

SAUSAGE & MASH A selection of locally made butchers sausages served with crushed buttery potatoes, red onion gravy and seasonal vegetables.

LASAGNE served with garlic bread and a crisp green salad.

 

Desserts

CHEESECAKE - Any flavour - Chocolate, Peanut Butter, White Chocolate and Summer Fruits, Lemon and Ginger, Salted Caramel, Lime and Pistachio, Nutella

PAVLOVA - Cruchy meringue base filled with freshly whipped cream and a selection of toppings. Choose from; English Summer Fruits, Tropical Fruits, Chocolate Salted Caramel and Hazlenuts, Lemon Curd and Raspberry

WHITE CHOCOLATE AND RASPBERRY ROULADE Light vanilla sponge with fresh raspberries and a rich white chocolate cream filling

ETON MESS - Crushed meringue served with whipped cream, strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries

BANOFFEE PIE Ginger biscuit base covered in bananas, toffee and whipped cream, finished with a grating of chocolate

CHOCOLATE BROWNIES Gooey chocolate cake with chunks of white chocolate, served with a hot chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream

LEMON MOUSSE A light and creamy lemon mousse served with a ginger snap biscuit

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE STACK Crunchy shortbread biscuits sandwiched with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries, served with strawberry sauce

SEASONAL FRUIT CRUMBLE A selection of seasonal fruits with a crunchy crumble, served hot with custard or cream

BRIOCHE BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING A classic dessert made with buttery brioche and sultanas, served with fresh cream

STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING Yummy date pudding, served hot with a hot toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream

INDIVIDUAL APPLE PIE Flavoured with cinnamon and pecans, served with whipped cream

TARTE TATIN. Apples or pears with caramel and a crunchy pastry base. Served with cream and or ice cream

CHEESE & BISCUITS A selection of cheeses served with crackers, fruits and chutney.

You and your staff were phenomenal, we had so many compliments over the quality of the food and friendliness of your staff. The gluten free guests were very impressed with the quality of the bread and the vegetarians (including me!) were delighted with our veggie option. The meat eaters were very complimentary over the crackling!  Thank you all so much for helping to make our day so special.
